Archives for quoting

Improved Quoting LayoutWe’ve completely redesigned our system to make it even faster and easier for you to quote and issue policies.

We’ve also made important product improvements. The most significant of those is that we can now write homeowners policies on dwellings situated on up to 300 acres – that’s right – as part of our farm and ranch coverage options we can now go up to three hundred acres.

Other iMGA farm and ranch options include coverage for:

  • Tractors, ATVs and other mechanized farm equipment
  • Farm and Ranch Liability
  • Animal Collision Coverage
  • Additional buildings

So quote us today – on a farm and ranch, homeowners, rental dwelling, vacant or renter’s policy – quoting and issuing is easier than ever before!

The Longhorn Dwelling product makes quoting any Texas dwelling policy very easy. Whether your client needs a TDP1, TDP1 Plus, or TDP3 you can quickly get a quote using the same easy process.

To ensure you get our best possible price for your client, though, be sure to add the details on any dwelling improvements. A dwelling built in 1950 whose heating was completely updated in 2005 will get a much better price than the same dwelling with no updates.

With the ability to cover properties of to 100 acres, any protection class, up to $550,000 value and a monthly pay option, the Longhorn dwelling program can meet many of your clients’ needs quickly and easily.

At iMGA we’re all about making things EASY for you, and we’ve done it again!

As of now:

  • If you quote a Texas Elite Non-Admitted HOA/HOA+/HOB policy, you can requote it in iMGA’s Admitted HOA/HOA+ program IN AS FEW AS SIX CLICKS.
  • If you quote a TDP3 policy, you can requote it in our TDP1 program IN AS FEW AS EIGHT CLICKS.

Simply pull up any saved Texas Elite (NAH) or TDP3 quote (or complete any new Texas Elite or TDP3 quote), click on “Requote” and click through. No retyping required!

Click on the Requote button to start the requote process
It now takes less work to offer options for your customers, so sign in today to quote a personal property policy – or to requote a TDP3 or Texas Elite quote you’ve already saved.

Why does it only work this way? Why can’t you quote a TDP1 or an HOA and then requote those as a TDP3 and Texas Elite, respectively? Why can’t we just quote everything at once? Why isn’t there world peace? Our tech people say it has something to do with the Earth’s magnetism or quantum physics or some such (we really tried to pay attention but it’s just so hard sometimes). We assume it actually has something to do with needing more data. Either way we’re thrilled with EASY requoting and hope you will be too!

As always, if you have any questions about any of our products, please call 512.494.4161 and Tony (at extension 12) or Mike (at extension 13) will be glad to help you.

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

At iMGA we understand that independent agencies have many companies they can use, and that each of those companies has multiple products with unique underwriting requirements. With us alone you have MobileHome, Dwelling Fire (TDP1 & TDP3), Travel Trailer, Vacant Dwelling, Remodeler Coverage, HOA/HOA+ (both admitted and non-admitted) and HOB options.

How do you keep all that straight? How do you avoid killing time quoting something that doesn’t qualify for a product?
How do you make sure you offer the insured the best coverage for which they qualify, and in the least amount of time?

Other markets require a time consuming trial and error approach. We like it simple. So, we developed an easy method. If you have ANY Texas Personal Property coverage need, simply login at, select Online Quoting, and choose StartAllQuotesHere as the Line of Business.

We’ll run you through a very short set of questions to verify which lines of business that specific risk qualifies for, and show you exactly those lines. Then, with the push of a button the information you’ve already entered is transferred over for quoting. With just a few more questions, we’ve looked up the protection class, tax records, and calculated dwelling value for you online, and you have a confirmed quote, with no wasted effort.

Respecting your time and understanding that you have alternatives – just one of the many ways that we’re working to be the easiest personal property market Texas independent agencies have. If you are a Texas independent insurance agent who would like to represent us, please click on “Become an Agent” at the top of the page and complete the form so that we can start to get to know each other better.

Out of Focus Sunset

At iMGA we know how important it is to stay clearly focused. It’s the reason we’re focused completely on Texas Personal Property Insurance.

That focus is definitely producing dividends, as it’s already allowed us to make the following changes:

  • New secondary home eligibility. You can now cover unsupported secondary dwellings on the HOA and TDP products, opening up additional opportunities to meet those customers’ needs.
  • Mobile Home product improvements. You can now add Replacement Cost coverage and quote higher limits for adjacent structures and personal property than before.
  • Integrated ISO protection class look up. You don’t have to worry about which is the responding fire department or what their rating is any more.
  • Automatic ISO replacement cost calculation. In most cases all the needed data is now pulled from public records. Even if not, you only need to complete a couple of fields to get the value.
  • Independent inspection of the property. You don’t have to worry about having photos of the dwelling any more.
  • Easier quoting. By starting all quotes using the StartAllQuotesHere option, you no longer have to remember which program each risk qualifies for – the system will handle that automatically.

We’re constantly working to make things better, because at iMGA we’re focused on becoming the best MobileHome, TDP1/TDP3, HOA/HOA+ and Vacant Dwelling market available. So, please, quote one with us now.

Because with a clear focus, things just turn out better:

Clear Sunset

It’s St. Patrick’s Day, but you don’t need the Luck of the Irish to increase your agency’s sales.

Just use iMGA’s easy web site to quote all your Homeowner’s, MobileHome and Dwelling policies!

Take a look at just some of what’s at the pot of gold at the end of the iMGA rainbow:

  • Dwellings up to $300k (PC 1-9) or up to $100k (PC10).
  • MobileHomes up to $75k with personal property coverage up to 200% of dwelling amount (subject to $125k total max)
  • Replacement cost dwelling coverage available (subject to restrictions) on MobileHomes, TDP3 and HOA.
  • Coverage available on dwellings with dogs (except for certain breeds), pools (as long as fenced and no slide/diving board) and trampolines (as long fenced and netted).
  • And much more!

You don’t have to wear green to get all this, either. In fact, you can get it every day, not just St. Patrick’s Day. Just go to and watch your green grow!

At iMGA we’re listening to our agents, and we’re acting on the great input we’re getting.

Those ideas have resulted in lower down payments, easier quoting, more clear underwriting guidelines, higher limits for mobile homes and an easier referral process. And many more improvements are already on the way.

The weather today here in Austin was crazy! The snow flurries were scary enough to shut down the schools – which means, of course, about half an inch total. 🙂

We haven’t let that slow us down on improving our Texas Personal Property products for you, though, and today our focus has been on Mobile Homes.

If you write any Mobile Homes we’re certain you’ll appreciate the following changes:

  1. Permanently attached room additions can now be included in the mobile home dwelling limit.
  2. The maximum home limit has been increased to $75,000.
  3. Personal effects can be covered up to 200% of the home limit.
  4. Adjacent structures (awnings, shelters, cabanas, porches, etc.) can now be covered up to 200% of the home limit.
  5. The maximum total limit (home plus personal effects plus adjacent structures) has been increased to $125,000.
  6. You can now add Replacement Cost coverage for both the dwelling and the contents.

Mobile Homes, depending on their characteristics, can be written on either a Mobile Home form, a TDP1 or a TDP3. Start all your quotes using the StartAllQuotesHere option and you won’t have to remember which program each risk qualifies for – the system will handle that automatically.
